K9 vests for military dogs

Police dogs, or K9s, perform dangerous tasks in the line of duty, yet they aren’t issued K9 vests for military dogs like many of their human handlers. It’s mostly due to a lack of funding – not to a lack of love or caring. But that’s changing thanks to the generosity of nonprofit organizations and foundations across the country as Project Paws Alive. Each K9 vests for military dogs donated by Project Paws Alive is custom manufactured to fit the specific body shape of each individual K9. The vests are custom fit to 4 measurement points; the K9’s neck, torso, abdomen, and length from the base of the neck to their tail which affords maximum coverage in a newly redesigned agile vest.

Unfortunately, none of these dogs have any sort of ballistic vest to help protect them from gunshots or penetrating wounds. We want to change that. With your help, we want to provide each of these police dogs with the K9 Storm body armor they need and deserve.
